چکیده

Abstract To clarify deep relationships among species lineages within Bacidia s. str., and to investigate the robustness of deeper branches, we combined data from three traditionally used RNA-coding genes (nrITS, nrLSU mtSSU) with two protein-coding ( RPB 1 2). The multigene phylogeny contained 48 newly generated sequences Russian Far East all str. GenBank (131 sequences). We subjected alignments for single concatenated sets Bayesian inference (BI) maximum likelihood (ML) analyses (RAxML IQ-TREE). topologies phylogenetic trees recovered BI ML were highly concordant. multilocus was congruent previous results based on nrITS but considerably higher support values most branches. A correlation between clades apothecial pigments in upper part hymenium lateral exciple observed. Based morphological molecular evidence, obtecta is described as new science. It sister lineage B. elongata . are alike having up four enlarged lumina cells along edge, differs abundant crystals found exciple, by spores fewer septa.

Phylogenetic study of Catapyrenium s. str. (Verrucariaceae, lichen-forming Ascomycota) and related genus Placidiopsis.

The current classification of what used to be called Catapyrenium comprises eight genera belonging to distinct lineages in the Verrucariaceae. Previous phylogenetic studies have shown that the redefined genus Catapyrenium (Catapyrenium s. str.) is monophyletic and sister of Placidiopsis within the Staurothele group, but this relationship was based on only two species from each genus. We conduct...

Phylogeny and species delimitation in the genus Coprinellus with special emphasis on the haired species.

We inferred the phylogenetic structure and species limits within Coprinellus by using a newly generated multigene alignment of LSU, ITS and β-tubulin sequences. We sampled 154 specimens of 71 species out of ca. 80 known taxa in Coprinellus and inferred phylogenetic relationships by Bayesian MCMC and ML bootstrapping. Morphological and phylogenetic analyses revealed 17 new species, five of which...

Contribution of RPB2 to multilocus phylogenetic studies of the euascomycetes (Pezizomycotina, Fungi) with special emphasis on the lichen-forming Acarosporaceae and evolution of polyspory.

Despite the recent progress in molecular phylogenetics, many of the deepest relationships among the main lineages of the largest fungal phylum, Ascomycota, remain unresolved. To increase both resolution and support on a large-scale phylogeny of lichenized and non-lichenized ascomycetes, we combined the protein coding-gene RPB2 with the traditionally used nuclear ribosomal genes SSU and LSU. Our...

Family medicine in the Russian far East.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Over the last decade, Russia and other former Soviet states have attempted to move from a fragmented health care system dominated by specialty and hospital care to one emphasizing primary care and prevention through the introduction of family medicine. This report describes the development of family medicine in Russia's Far East region. METHODS The Far East was one o...
